Categories:

1. Technological Innovation
This award is presented to the manufacturer, supplier or health-care provider who has shown the most effective technological development to advance health care in the Middle East.

2. Specialist Achievement Award – Radiology
This award is presented to the company, health-care provider, or individual that has made the greatest contribution in the field of radiology.

3. Specialist Achievement Award – Surgery
This award is presented to the company, health-care provider, or individual that has made the greatest contribution in the field of surgery.

4. Specialist Achievement Award – Pharma
This award is presented to the company, health-care provider, or individual that has made the greatest contribution in the field of pharmaceuticals.

5. Specialist Achievement Award – Support Services
This award is presented to the bio-medical or clinical engineering service department, medical laboratory or technical support department that has made the greatest contribution to efficiency in health care or facilities development in the region.

6. Specialist Achievement Award – Hospital Development
This award is presented to the health-care provider or its contractors for the most outstanding hospital development in the region.

7. Best Use of Public-Private Partnership in Health Care
This award is presented to the regional health-care providers who have demonstrated the best example of public-private partnership in action.

8. Best Use of International Health-care Partnerships
This award is presented to the regional health-care provider who has demonstrated the best use of an international partnership.

9. Outstanding Contribution to Regional Health-care Service
The award is for the person or group of people who has/have made the most significant contribution to the industry in the region over the past year.

10. Middle East Dealer/Distributor of the Year
This award is presented to the local dealership or distributor who has best provided services or products to the regional health-care industry and demonstrated outstanding customer service and support. It will be presented to the local dealership or distributor who receives the most votes from the 1,250 companies exhibiting at Arab Health 2004.
